Bao and I are celebrating our 1-year anniversary today. I love my wedding cake bakery. They gave us a complimentary cake for the occasion. I can't tell you how excited I am by this. Neither of us really tasted our cake at the wedding. I wanted to mingle with guests and when I returned, the wait staff had cleared away our plates.
We were given the top layer to bring home, but we were so busy packing up the hotel suite the next morning that we forgot the cake in the refrigerator!
So yes! I'm going to eat my cake and enjoy it today. Same flavor and same design as the original. What great memories it brings back.
