Girls, I am finally BACK Stateside from the honeymoon. Let me explain why this is awesome.
DH and I went to Germany for our honeymoon, originally we were suppose to leave on Sunday the 18th. Well, ya'll know by now that there was a stinkin' volcano in ICELAND that decided that we needed to stay on our honeymoon a little longer! So we got rebooked for Wednesday the 21st and got cancelled and rescheduled for the 27th!!! WELL, to make a long story short, we ended up taking an ICE train from Munich to Amsterdam, staying with a friend of a friend, and then flying out TODAY. I am currently sitting in Detroit airport, waiting for my next flight back home to Boston @ 9:45PM.
It'll be so amazing to actually sleep in my own bed for the first time in almost 3 weeks.
This has literally been a WHIRLWIND honeymoon. I got Strep Throat the beginning of the honeymoon, and then got stranded by a volcano, and went to Amsterdam. Holy crap. This is going to be quite the story to tell the children and the grandchildren.
Now it's back to normal and MARRIED life!
