Hi JamieD- Welcome to the board, and CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement!!! Wink

Check out this website: http://hvbrides.weebly.com/index.html.  It's info for Hudson Valley brides.  I don't know if it specifically talks about outside venues but you might end up finding a place that meets your needs.

I am getting married at The Grandview.  It isn't in Westchester, it's Dutchess County, but it has an outdoor ballroom which we are using and it is just gorgeous.

Food is amazing and I have never once heard a bad review.  People rave about the service.  I'm very excited to be having my May wedding there!

    Good Luck! :)

Hi! Congrats on your engagement and welsome to the hudson valley board1

The webite that mocknine listed above was created by our one and only wonderful mod Jaimie (BellaSposa). It shares the info of where the girls on here are all getting married and the vendors that we are all using.

Places that will have outdoor receptions:

    Grandview (tent) in Poughkeepsie (Dutchess)

    Boscobel in Garrison (Putnam County)

Osborn Castle / Cat Rock* in Garrison (Putnam County) (* I think they can do outside receptions, but am not totally sure)

    In westchester:

    Caramoor in Katonah

    Hammond Musuem in North Salem

    Sunnyside in Tarrytown

Sunset Cove in Tarrytown - a restaurant that has capability to have outdoor events

Additionally, LOTS of reception halls can host your cocktail hour outside.

    Have a good time searching!

I 2nd Boscobel and the Osborn Castle.  I've been to many events at  both and I would have to say they both have stunning views of the Hudson.  Castle on the Hudson in Westchester is also a good idea if you wanted to tent there

Hi there! I just created a website with a comprehensive list of wedding locations by location, style, and name. http://www.hudsonvalleyweddingfever.com/

    Hope this helps!
