need fun place for rehearsal dinner in Boston

We are looking for a fun place for about 40 people for a rehearsal dinner in Boston.  The closer to the theater district, the better.  We would prefer stations or a buffet so people will mingle and chat, but we're flexible.  We would consider all kinds of food and would like to find someplace reasonably priced.

    PF changs?  I'm not sure if they can accommodate that many people but they serve family style and the food is tasty.  It's in the theater district and nice inside.

    Maggiano's near Park Plaza (and the theatre district) has a bunch of private function rooms, and has a done of options on their banquet menu, so you could do buffet or stations it you wanted.

    Post 390 - they have a private room in the back with a fireplace.  I would have never thought of it but I was there having dinner the other night and saw one going on and thought how cozy and central it was.
