Men's WH v. Jos. A Bank?

Any recommendations about these tux rental places?

DH prefers Men's Wearhouse. He bought his tux there and he thought it was much better quality than the ones he saw at Jos. A. Bank. He also gets his work suits at MWH since they tend to carry real designers and the suits at JAB are made with cheap material.

I think we're gonna use Men's WH b/c they are affiliated w/David's Bridal and this way, the guys can wear a vest/tie etc that matches the sash my jr. BM will be wearing w/her chocolate brown dress....my BM will be wearing just the chocolate brown, but no sash or anything....I think it will look nice and I've heard good things about the Men's WH

Ok. Maybe it was just the MW we went to, but the tux guy really turned me off....whereas the Jos. A Bank guy was very, very nice. I'll pass along the suggestions to FI. Thanks!

Which one did you go to? There are definitely some stores that are better than other...

Went to the downtown crossing location for MW and the State St. Jos.ABank. FI works up near the Burlington MW location, so I think if he goes with MW he'll actually use that store. Totally  not impressed with the dude in Boston though.

We got our suits at Jos Banks but we bought vs rented.  We got some great deals and FI regularly wears their items for work and we've always found them to last a long time and hold up well.  That being said, I don't have much experience with Men's WH.

Thanks Cgal. I will pass this along to the FI. I liked the option of them buying, too, but FI wants tuxes instead of suits (I could care less - both look very nice). Funny thing - we might have to go w/Jos.Bank because MW only starts the ring bearer tuxes at 4T and it is my belief that my nephew is currently a 3T. It amuses me to no end that this may be the decision maker. I'm waiting for a call from my sister.

I worked with the staff at the Burlington MW. There are actually 2 MW there. One is near Long's across from the mall, and the other used to be a Mr. Tux and is across from Dunkie's and D'Angelos closer to BB&B. Go to the one that used to be a Mr. Tux since they pretty much just do tuxes there and they have all the samples for you to see. The staff is also totally awesome there, especially Angela, who we worked with to set everything up.

The Men's Warehouse in DT Crossing is not great.  The one in Danvers next to the David's Bridal is fantastic!  We have been very pleased with them so far.  We also know other couples who have used the one in Danvers, and were pleased as well.  We went off of their recommendation. 

In general, the stores in DT Crossing are not great (coming from someone who has worked in DT Crossing for 5 years)  Yes, it is a more convenient location, but the service there is not so great.

I second the MW by Dunkins in Burlington. Michael is great too. My FI got his their. If you have enough groomsmen, the FI gets a free suit as well.
