Ceremony ideas around Boston?

I am getting married next winter and want to have the ceremony someplace else besides my venue location. Does anyone have any suggestions in Boston or right outside in Wellesley/Natick?

Also, can you bring your own JP into a church to perform the ceremony? If so, what type of church would I need to look into! Thanks!!

I'm not sure what type of church you are thinking but the catholic church is really strict...only catholic priests can perform catholic marriages in their churches. Hope that helps.

If you are looking for a church you may want to look at a United Universalist church, although I think you may need to use their ministers.  Catholic Churches will require that you are a member of their church.

You can find all sorts of unique venues in Boston, like the Old State House that you can rent out to do your ceremony in.  Then you can bring in anyone you'd like to do the ceremony itself.

You might look into some of the pretty college campuses as well...they often have non-denominational chapels on campus, where you could potentially bring in your own JP, and they sometimes have other pretty buildings and function spaces on campus.
