HELP!! Chuppah

Hey ladies, 

So after an hours and days of searching I 've found a resonable price to rent a bare chuppah. Any one know of someome who can decorate it for a good rate?

Did you talk with your florist?  Most are able to create the Chuppah structure - and then a talit (prayer shawl) is often used as the "ceiling."

Whole Foods will do it for a very reasonable price.

My florist is providing my chuppah and decorating it for me.  They can usually get the best rate.

My florist (Lotus Designs) is providing and decorating our chuppah, too. Not sure what the cost is, but she says it's a very common request.

My florist did ours for $150, it was great. It helped that we had simple flowers and fake colored leaves around the poles.

Hey Ladies,
So I have the Chuppah but I am really most interested in the draping around it. Is there a special fabric that goes on it? Where can I purchase it?

Can you share a photo with what you're thinking of?  That might make it easier for us to give you some ideas . . .

Did your chuppah come with just the 4 poles or did it also come with a top?  Mine is 4 poles and does have a draping over it and around the tops of the 4 sides.  The florist is decorating it with fabric and flowers.  You can use any kind of fabric (or anything) you want to use.  You could get it at any fabric store.

We are also incorporating some special family pieces onto the chuppah so that we feel that our entire family is surrounding us.

Mine comes with all 4 poles and the top... it can stand on its own. I copied the pic of the fabric I'd like.. Do I have to get it from a special store

That looks like fabric you could get at any fabric store.  The draping is not religious or neccessary, but definitely pretty!
