veils help!

Hi Ladies,

I havent really been active on the posting much, but I was wondering if anyone would help me.  I am looking for a veil to go with my dress.  I found one that I really liked at the boutique I bought my dress at, but it was almost $400 for it and I think thats too much for something i'm only going to wear for a few hours at most.  Can anyone recommend places where i can try on different styles of veils?  I went to the shoes to dye for in natick and i didnt find anything there and i also went to david's bridal with no luck as well.  if you want to see my dress its an essence of australia dress.  style D922.

Thank you!

I ordered my veil from Etsy seller abusymother. She hand makes custom veils for a fraction of the price you would pay in a store. She can make it to fit any of your needs.

You can have almost any type of veil custom made here.  If you email them a picture, they can tell you if they can make it and they are much cheaper than any salon.

What kind of veil are you looking for? You can find almost anything on etsy. I got my veil from this vendor:

    http://www.etsy.com/shop/joyousillusions

She was great to work with, the veil came within a week and was exactly as pictured.

But you could also just search key terms and find really any type of veil.

PS-I also have my veil for sale (ivory, cathedral length with satin cording- asking $50 but will take less), PM me if interested.

I had my veil made by Candi Merle at Crowning Glory in L.A. She made me the perfect veil and we only ever communicated over email. She was great to work with and I got so many compliments.

I have been having the same issue as well!  I fell in love with a veil that I tried on in a salon, but I almost fell over when I saw the $375 price tag.  Yikes!  I didn't think to try etsy, thanks for the suggestions!!

My birdcage veil I got custom made on etsy. There are so many reasonably priced crafters that do excellent work on there.
