Looking for some photographer advice!

I am looking for a photographer in the Boston area who works better with candids/photo journalism style than posed pictures.  Our budget is about 2-2.5K.  Anyone good that you guys can recommend?

We used Scott Metzger for our wedding and I would recommend him without hesitation.  He shoots in more of a photojournalistic style, but he also does some formals if you want.  He's really open to working with you. 

We paid more than your budget, but Scott has less expensive packages (ours included the album, which is optional).  I will say, photography was our largest expense besides the reception, but I felt like Scott was worth every dime and then some.

We are using Stacie Kirkwood in May.  She is out of Framingham and has been fantastic to work with.  We were really looking for more of a photojournalistic photographer because I am not a fan of posed pictures and that's exactly what she does! She is fabulous and inexpensive! GL

We've booked with Kevin Jacobus Photography, and he is great! Most of their wedding packages are below your budget but he and his associates are amazing photographers, and also really, really great people!

Check out Ciras Photography -- they've been great for us so far. They are a young, fun couple, very responsive to questions, and we were super-happy with the way our e-pics turned out. The package we built out of their options came to $2,500 (plus tax), and we even got a few extras thrown in because we booked so quickly after meeting them (they give you a week, but it took us about 5 minutes to decide...).  Can't say enough about them!! www.cirasphotography.com

We met with Berry and love him but were fortunate enough to know someone to offer us a better deal. Berry had great work and reasonable prices.
