Photojournalist for MA wedding

anyone know a photojournalistic wedding photographer that costs under 4K? i am in love with a photographer i can't afford... sigh. the photographer i am currently mesmerized by is zev fisher, and here's his blog, so you can see what i am really looking for.

I think you might like Portrait New England. They are within your budget and are true photojournalists- they used to shoot for newspapers. I just booked them recently and had my engagement session this past weekend. We had a great time. They were a lot of fun.

Check out Berryphotos.  We got SO much with our package and the style is as good or better than any photographer charging 5k but they're at 3.  We were blown away by the quality of the images and we went through so many of their weddings on their website to see full weddings - not just the best hand picked ones.  Best of all, they stay the whole day with no time limits and you get the disc of all the images!

We're using Melissa DeSchamp.  We haven't had photos taken yet (e-pics in October) but we love her so far.  She did a co-worker's wedding and we loved the pictures and she's done baby photos for a bunch of co-workers.  I'm really excited to work with her!

What are you looking to get for under $4K?  The photographer you are interested in starts at $3700.

We only booked photography and didn't buy a book right away.  I would much rather spend my photography "budget" on the actual pictures than on the other stuff that comes with it because ultimately you can always buy a book later, but you can't change the quality of the pictures.

We used Scott Zuehlke (www.scottzphotography.com) and were very happy with our pictures.  He is photojournalist and doesn't do much "posed" photography at all.
