Winter Bridal Shower Dress?

Hey girls!

I am not getting married until June but my mother and bridesmaids are throwing me an early bridal shower in January because that is the only time all 5 of my bridesmaids will be in the state at the same time until June!  Soooo I know the date of the shower but not the location.

What do I wear? I know it is an early luncheon/brunch and its not at someone's home so its at some sort of restaurant/function room. I have always pictured wearing a cute white sundress, but now I dont know where to begin! I would like to wear a dress or skirt and look dressed up without being too fancy.

Any help would be apprecated!  Extra credit for pictures!! Thanks :)

    A cute knit dress with tights and boots would look good. You could always go for the sparkle factor and go for gold or silver accents.

    I saw some cute party dresses at Target this weekend. Or what about a cute white sweater dress? Try Kohl's, Victoria's Secret...These are from VS:

    I think you could still do a cute skirt or dress, and just add colorful tights and cream sweater.  Also, I love these options:

    Adorable sweater from Modcloth--would be so cute with skinny jeans or leggings--or even ultra wide leg sailor pants.



    The Gap has a bunch of white/ivory sweaters you could pair with different skirts/leggings/pants:





    Or maybe not this exact outfit, but something like this, cute dress or sweater dress, tights, and a belt:

    Oh, and I just realized I was posting all white options, but you could do other colors as well.  :)  (Personally, I am obsessed with wearing a lot of white as the bride)

    I love the look of a dress with a cardi and a skinny belt. Just add chunky tights and close toed shoes to winterize it
