DJ Recommendations - Boston

Hi Ladies,

I've been looking for a DJ but everyone I've come across charges upwards of $2,000 which is just more than I was looking for. Anyone dealt with DJs or found DJs for under or closer to $1,000?

We will be using Bellaire Music in the fall.  Rick charges under $1000 depending on the amount of time.  He was really nice when we met him and seemed super organized.

We are using Greg from Curtis Knight Entertainment.  We're paying $1,100 for ceremony and reception.  They've been awesome so far, and they get great reviews on here

We are using John Zucco of Entertainment Specialists.  He DJ'ed our friends wedding and it was so much fun.  He is doing our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all for about 1250.

He's amazing we had a three hour meeting with him the other day and I have no doubts about the music for our wedding.

We're using Curtis Knight Entertainment as well and paying just under $1000 for the reception only.  They were great to meet with and very professional.

Greg was our DJ -- he was fabulous! H and I received so many compliments on how awesome our DJ was.  He knows how to keep the party going!

We are using dj RaMu and he had been amazing to work with so far. He was 1,500 but offers a lot with that and that was his rate last year not sure if he has gone up but still worth sending him an email.

We loved Groove Entertainment but probably above your price range. We had Joe Toto the owner do our wedding and used his wife as our photography. Maybe you can cut a deal if you use both of them. They were amazing to work with and have on our wedding day. We also meet with Curtis knight and liked them and their whole package although I think the clinchier was my venue recommended Joe to us and we felt more comfortable going with him.

Dan McCarthy of DM Productions.  He's AMAZING...my wedding was 4 years ago and people are still talking about him.  We had several friends of the family use him and LOVE him.  He's awesome and quite affordable if I remember correctly!
