Florists

Any recommendations for a talented and reasonable florist that serves the Boston area? I am looking for a more modern approach to florals, if that means any thing in the floral world!

I worked with Tangled Web. They're on the South Shore and I loved working with them.

This! I'm also a TW bride...Jen was amazing to work with and even put up with my style and idea changes with ease. Her pricing is very reasonable --- quality and service are great!

    Check her out: http://www.the-tangled-web.net/

I am also working with Tangled Web. My wedding is in April so I can't say how the flowers will come out...but from what I have seen I'm going to say they will probably come out AMAZING. Jen is very easy to work with. I was dead set on not hearing her out when she was trying to tell me that I should add more color...then of course I went to a wedding and completly changed my mind and she was so cool with it. She'e extreamly helpful!

I worked with Jeri Solomon Floral Design in Melrose. Jeri was a pleasure to work with and my flowers were beautiful. She even made two samples of centerpieces for me (included in the pricing) because I was hesitating between two ideas.

I highly recommend who we used, Suzanne Bellanger at Bella Floral Design. You can read my review and see my actual flowers in my bio. Here's her website - you should definitely check her out!

Hello! A question for all you tangled web brides- I keep hearing people say her pricing is reasonable, but the quote I got ($4300) seemed pretty pricey for south shore. this was for 4 bm bouquets, bridal bouquet, 2 ceremony arrangements, and high arrangements for about ten tables.

Were your quotes for comparable items much lower? Or do you consider $4k-5k reasonable? Just curious bc for south shore I expected her to be lower.

    Thanks!

It depends on the flowers. Peonies are going to be more expensive than roses. Also tall CPs are going to be more expensive than short CPs. The size of the CPs matters, too. Full lush CPs are more expensive thn minimal ones. If you want to bring down the cost, you can split the CPs between tall and short or short and a non-floral CP or tall and non-floral CPs.
