Sparklers?

Hi! Did any of you ladies use or are planning on using sparklers at the end of the night? I love how the photos turn out. Are they legal to use or does it just depend on what your venue allows? Thanks!

    We did! The photos came out *great*. And everyone really enjoyed "playing" with them. It was a really good decision.

    I didn't really ask too many questions about legality. We just got the OK from the venue. =)

    (And FYI, if you order them online, you can get them for much cheaper... you can have them delivered too, which was a surprise to me...)

    We did and the photos turned out amazing.  We told the hall and they had no problem with it.  My husband drove to penn to pick them and some other fireworks for july 4.

    That sounds so cool!

    How did you do it ? Did you have all your guests come outside at the end of the night?  I would love to integrate them just not sure how to do it logistically....we will be having a shuttle which I would say about half of our guests will be using...did your dj announce for everyone to go outside?  Any insight appreciated!

    The dj announced it at the end of the night (maybe the last twenty min). Only the younger guests came out but it was a lot of fun.

    We put an announcement at the bottom of our menu cards, saying that at 10:45 there would be a "sparkler send-off."

    We also had told our DJ about it beforehand, so he announced it before the last song, which he played around 10:45. Then he directed everyone outside.

    I'm pretty sure our whole guest list came out for it...

    My best friend got married two months ago and had heart sparklers at her wedding.  They were SO beautiful!!  The photographer had great ideas for photos - can't wait to see how it turned out.

    I am definitely using sparklers at my wedding - she said got her sparklers at BuySparklers.com.  I will check out that site later and let you know what I found : )
