Well, you know what they say... when it rains it pours, and right now it's monsoon season for my family.
Everything was going fine, and then on Halloween I was riding with my dad to his parents' house to rake leaves and take care of things there, and on the drive we get a phone call that my grandmother died, and unexpectedly on top.
So, dad moves in to take care of my grandfather, and things are just a huge upheaval for all of us, but we've made it through the holidays.
A couple of weeks ago, things started going sour with the lady who comes to stay with my grandfather while my dad is at work. Still up in the air about that situation.
Yesterday morning, my grandfather looked disoriented and ill, so he was rushed to the hospital, where he is now. And tonight, our neighbors in the condo below us informed us that they have a leak in their bathroom coming from above us. We have had so many plumbing problems and torn the bathroom apart so many times it's unbelievable.
And through all of this, wedding planning is the last thing on my mind, but the one thing I was having a blast with before all this started. Thanks for reading my rambling! :-\
