Hey everyone!!!

I was just curious if you ladies had some recommendations for an officiant. and also if anyone knows how much this should cost? I got quoted $600 from one guy and I was extremely taken back, is that the norm?

Mine cost $600 and I was told that was the norm. Most Officiants I called gave me the same price.

mine was 600 and we loved him.  worth every penny AND recommended a harpist to me (what i wanted) and she was awesome!!!

We paid $150 for our officiant.  We were married by Rev. Robert Engel Jr.  He was fantastic.  Our ceremony was so elegant and really meaningful.

I'm getting married in the Catholic church and our suggested donation is $500.

Judges are precluded by law from accepting more than $100 for officiating a wedding. My fiance and I are going this route because we think paying much more than that doesn't make sense. Plus we want to make sure our ceremony is 100% civil/secular, and using a judge was one of the few ways we could find to accomplish that.
