Centerpieces

What are you ladies doing for centerpieces?

My wedding is right around the corner, and I'm still struggling with what to do!!  I originally wanted to do tall candelabras with flowers but when I received the quote from the florist it was waaaaaay more than I wanted to spend.  So, now I'm at square one.  I purchased a skinnier vase and some pedestal candle holders to go around the vase, but now I'm not sure.  As I get closer and closer to the wedding, I am getting cheaper and cheaper!  The money is running out!!!  SO, now I'm thinking of doing just the vase with no pedestal's but do some tealight candles around the base instead.

What do you think?  I need help!!!  Send your ideas my way, please!

I did a mix of high and low centerpieces, you still get the feeling of high centerpieces but you don't have to spend as much $.

I also think that all low centerpieces are also lovely, so don't stress yourself out about it too much if the highs aren't going to work with your budget.

i agree with amanda...maybe they can give you some suggestions.

We did low centerpieces....6" square vases with moss on the inside and flowers similar to the bouquets and we had tealights all around it.  there was also a navy ribbon tied around the vase.

I recently saw tall, thin, circular vases with colored pebbles in the bottom and a single flower ( I think an orchid)  submerged in the water in the vase with a floating candle at the top. This could be really pretty, maybe even with small candles around it placed on a mirror for added brightness and emphasis. :)

I alternated tall and short and actually bought my tall glass vases for $16 a piece at www.gandgwebstore.com (located right off the GSP 15 min from the TZ). My short CPs were about $45 a piece and the tall were about $80
