Ceremony ideas help!

I'm newly engaged and have been trying to find a place just for a ceremony, I have a reception place. Money is a big problem and I'm trying to streatch my  money as best I can. Any ideas?

    where are you looking (region)?  Are you thinking of havig your ceremony at a church/synagouge? What time of year?  Public parks can be nice or maybe near a beach somewhere...

    Can you get married at the reception venue?  Lots of venues offer you a deal if you do both ceremony and reception with them.

    If not, you could do a local park or garden.  All you usually need is a permit from the city which is typically cheap ($25).
