  • I am using Rosa at Rosa's Alterations in Salem.  I have only had one fitting with her, but she has been amazing so far.  She also has great yelp reviews.

Thanks! I saw her reviews on Yelp also and called her today. Do you know how much she's charging you? I might go see her to get a price.

Okay, thanks. Lowell is a bit far but I'd be willing to go if the person is great.

She didn't give me a quote because my dress is super difficult.  My dress has a lace bodice and sleeves--the bodice is a bit too small around my ribcage but the shoulders and sleeves are much too big.  I didn't ask her for a quote--I basically told her as long as it looks beautiful, I am happy.  I am sure if you ask her for one, she will give it to you!  From what I understand, she is very reasonably priced.

  • I am using Susanna on Essex St. in Salem.  I go for my first fitting on Thursday; I don't know pricing yet because we don't know if we'll to purchase fabric (she's de/reconstructing my mother's dress to fit me).

She seems to really know what she's doing and the custom work I've seen in her shop is stunning.
