Non-slip aisle runner

Good morning!

I am getting married at a place that has a wooden aisle, but is historic so they are crazy about not using tape/adhesive, etc. Is there some type of materical I should look for in an aisle runner that will make it non slip without  having to tack or tape it down. Also, when do I have that rolled out, does it matter?

And... if anyone wants to sell me one let me know

$400 for 25 ft and $800 for 50 ft? That is def too pricey for me! And the problem is that if you customize it, you couldn't even re-sell it.

Thanks everyone! Yes... I'd like to go as inexpensive as I can, but need to make sure it has a rubbery-backing.
