Manhattan Bridals Alterations?

I bought my dress at Manhattan and had a very nice experience.  My dress is in the my first fitting is scheduled for next Saturday.  However, now I am freaked out because I have read awful things about their in-house alterations!  I heard stories about bustles falling apart, etc.  Have any of you girls had alterations there or known people that have?  Thanks!

    My sister actually used to work there and would never use them for alterations, and she warns everyone we know not too.  I don't remember the specifics off the top of  my head, but I know for sure that she saw many awful things and would recommend people to stay away. 

    If you need the name of a seamstress I have some depending on where you live, and I'm sure many women here would have suggestions!

    I used them for alterations and I thought they did fine. I had the length altered and had cups put in. My only problem was that I thought they were really expensive.
