Recommendations needed for invitations

Hi everyone!

I'm searching the internet for somewhat cheap invites, this to me isn't important to have high grade paper, envelopes etc. Papeterie on the internet looks decent and I have a 35% savings code from Lucky magazine (luckybreaks4, if anyone wants to try to use for themselves, it was in the January mag not sure if it expired yet but might as well try it)
Any other recommendations? locally or on the net? I want to try to match the invites and placecards and maybe have a flower on them or vintage type look that I can manipulate the color scheme.

Have you tried the Invites and Paper board? This topic comes up on there fairly often, and since you are looking for an online vendor, brides from other places might have good advice.

If you want to consider a local vendor, my friend just got hers through Paper Source and she said they were fairly affordable...

I really like www.weddingpaperdivas.com. I haven't used them yet, but I love their designs and I think the prices are reasonable.  You can order samples too.

I was too afraid to use an online company as I wanted to sit down with someone and really look at the paper, the spacing and review proofs with a real person.  I used An Elegant Affair in Belmont and found some really affordable invitations.  They were very simple, but ended up looking great.

I designed my own using Adobe Creative Suite, printed on paper (all paper and envelopes from cardsandpockets.com) and printed on my home computer. I cut everything else out myself as well. It was a labor of love, but worth the time and effort in the end.

I worked with Maple Mountain Designs on a bunch of paper products, and had a very good experience.  Prices are great, and they were very easy to work with.  Website is www.maplemountaindesigns.com
She does a lot of custom work, so you can suggest what you are looking for if you don't see it on the website, and she can give a quote.

I ordered my invitation from theamericanwedding.com.  You can order free samples and evelopes of the invitations you are interested in so that you can see what they look like in person and the quality. I thought they came out great and I was happy with the quality of the product, the speed of the service and the customer service in general (both online and via phone).  They were economical as well.

I used DoubleTroubleDesigns from Etsy to design the invitations and then I used Cards & Pockets to print them.  I can't say enough good things about both vendors.  DoubleTroubleDesigns has been excellent to communicate with and very accommodating with any changes I wanted to make.  Cards & Pockets customer service was great and they were quick too.  I ordered a couple of samples and they came within 2 days and the final ordered arrived in about a week.  Also, both vendors are from MA!

Etsy is a great site for finding good invites cheap.  We are getting married in October and found a site that did 100 save the dates for 42.  The invites with envelopes, response cards, reception cards, and everything else you need would be $100 for 100.  The lady sends proofs and everything.  If you go to her site, for like $5 she will send you a mock-up of your invite and everything that goes with it.  hey will match your colors and everything.  The pictures don't do them justice.

I used 123print.com They came out great!! For 80 save the date magnets, invites, rsvp post cards, return address labels, business cards (which will be place cards for guests) and thank you's it was $175 for everything... Def a steal!! You may also want to look into visaprint.com too. They usually have good sales and coupons!

We haven't ordered ours yet but found perfect and affordable invitations for our peacock themed wedding on etsy. I ordered a sample packet that I received today and they look just as good in person as they did online.
