Invitations/Save the Dates Help!!

Does anyone have recommendations for where to get invitations and save the dates?? We definitely want photo magnet save the dates and probably pocket-style beachy invitations. Nothing too fancy!

I have to send out save the dates by the end of the summer, and I've heard that it's best to buy them at the same place as invitations (which I really haven't given any thought to)

Thanks for your help!!!

I got married in June '10 and I sent out my save the dates at the end of October '09. I had a lot of OOT and overseas guest, so that's why I sent them out a little earlier. I had my invites and save the dates made by the same company since I wanted the save the date to show the kind of wedding being planned. My save the dates were formal cards since the wedding was formal.

Since you want more beachy casual, I don't think you really need to go with invites and save the dates by the same place. For magnets, magnetstreet.com and vistaprint.com are popular choices and neither are super expensive.

I used 123print.com for my magnet Save the Dates. They come in 2 sizes and are reasonably priced with free shipping.

We used Magnet Street for STDs --- we mailed in June for a February wedding -- we had  a bunch of OOT guests and got married on a holiday weekend so we wanted to get the date out there, their pricing is very reasonable:

We had custom designed pocketfolds made for our invitations...and ended up using a different vendor all together. I highly recommend looking at La Bella Rue...Paula is based out of Braintree and was a peach to work with. She designed all of our paper products for our wedding (except obviously the STD). You can find her at: www.labellarue.com

I used vistaprint.com for my save the date magnets - easy and cheap (you can usually find 50% off coupon codes on couponcabin.com).

I used theamericanwedding.com for invitations - easy and cost effective.  I didn't have pocket invites, but I assume they have them.

Agree with JBs - you do not need to get the invites and the save the dates at the same place.

We used Magnet Street for our STDs (pics in bio under Paper/DIY).

For invites, we ordered from Discount Invitations USA.  Pics in bio of those too, and there's a review too.

we used Magnet Street for our STDs and The Green Kangaroo for our invitations....I looked at a bunch of invitations from Magnet Street and got a couple of samples, but just wasn't impressed w/the invitations.....I LOVE the pocket style invitations I got from TGK....if you have a lot of OOT guests, I'd suggest sending the STDs earlier on and try to book a block of rooms at a nearby hotel....we put a card in w/the STDs that had the hotel info on it and we're putting the hotel info in the invitations too
