rant/rave: Nina Shoes??

Hey-

I ran across this company recently and I was wondering if anyone knew ANYTHING about the quality?? The shoes are decently priced so I am skeptical..

PLUS they have a whole section of design your own! these aren't dyeables! http://ninashoes.com/dyo_0.aspx

I am pretty enthused about this but definitely need reviews!

Thanks!!!!

I wore Nina's at my wedding (http://www.zappos.com/nina-paladin-powder-sand-luster-satin) and they definitely needed some breaking-in beforehand. Other than that they're made really well and I love the styles they offer!

They make some really pretty shoes, but they don't fit my feet :(  I bought a gorgeous pair of copper color stillettos with beading down the front a few years ago and had to return them.  I've tried a few others since then and always have the same fit problem (I have high arches).

Definitely try them out though, and if they fit you, lucky you!!!!  :)  They have tons of colors & styles to choose from.

(I'm pretty sure most department stores carry them: Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom, etc)

I think Zappos carries them so you could order some to try on, then return for free.  I tried them, but they did not fit my feet.

I love Nina shoes, have a couple too! Agree with the PP that said they need some breaking in, but I do think they're fabulous. :) You can also find them on Endless.com for free shipping and free return shipping....besttt!

My wedding shoes are Nina.  I got them at DSW in Saugus for $50.  I tried on a TON of shoes that day, and these were shockingly comfortable compared to the others, despite the 3" heel.

I wore a pair for my wedding (the same as NIKNAKS only in Navy) and I loved them.  I didn't really have to break them in.  I wore them to my fittings and a few times around the house.  I had them on the whole day/night of the wedding.
They carry a few styles at Macy's and I've also seen them at DSW.

i have a few pairs and one is kind of strappy and kills my feet to the point where i can't really walk in them after a few hours and the other is a peep toe pump and really comfortable (i wore them for my rehersal).  i think they make really beautiful shoes and i've always found them to be good quality.

    ...hello out there!

ok.. hmm worried about the discomfort.... any tips on comfortable nice shoes?!

I have 3 different pairs.. 1 is so uncomfy I will probably through them out soon since they are just taking up space in my closet.

The other 2 are fine  just go with one with a lower heel because the higher the heel the more painful they are.

And I do heels all of the time so it's not about not being used to wearing heels.

I have 3 pairs of Nina shoes, all various styles/heel height - all are extremely comfortable in that they don't rub/cause blisters.  However, I did have to buy little gel pads to put at the front of the shoes (under balls of feet) because sometimes my feet would get tired/slightly sore (usually after 8 hrs or so)  That being said, I NEVER wear heals except to nice events.  I wear converse all-stars on a daily basis.  I would highly recommend Nina shoes.  One of the pairs is silver satin, and it got extremely muddy after an outdoor wedding where it poured.  I was able to easily wash the mud out of the fabric with oxyclean spray, and got the shoes to look just like new without ruining the fabric.

I have bought several pairs of Nina shoes due to how inexpensive they are compared to other evening shoes! I agree with all PP in saying that you need to break them in! I forgot to do that two years ago before my 25th birthday extravaganza and I ended up with blisters and overall sore feet. I love their shoes but just wear them around your house a few weeks prior.
