Suit Options?

Is anyone renting suits in the Boston area? If so, could you let me know where you looked... and if you don't mind, what price ranges you have been seeing? We're trying to decide what the groomsmen will be wearing.

My FI and I just picked out the tuxes this past weekend at Men's Warehouse. They had tuxes that looked like suits and they had regular suit options too. The price for tux rental was about $150.

well, i guess there is a difference between a suit and a tux; haha i never knew this before we started looking around. i guess its harder to find somewhere to do a suit rental anyways, because most rental places rent tuxes. anyways, we wanted to go with suits and we found some great ones at express and at jcrew (express was super affordable too, around 250 for everything, which our dudes didn't mind spending because it was only a minimal amount more than renting and they actually can keep it and wear it again.)

We ordered suits for our guys from Joseph A Banks during one of their many sales. Buy 3 get one free or something. It worked out to $178 per suit. We are getting them shirts and ties too so the whole thing is going to be about $225-$250 I think.

Oh, but that doesn't include tailoring. The guys are going to do that on their own. I have no idea what that is going to be for a suit. Everyone was fine with the price since it wasn't too much more than renting and they get to have a suit that they will wear again.

We looked into renting suits also. We ended up having our guys order them, as we got a deal at Tuxes by Merian in Brockton. (508) 584-3333 The problem with that though, was that you had a choice of... here it is... one suit. I wasn't overly thrilled, but FI liked it and he was excited that he found a solution to a big problem we were having, so we ordered it.

Other places I found that rent suits, but don't know very much are:: Classic Tuxedo, multiple locations Nashua ph # is 603 888 3671

Bonardi's Formalwear- also a number of locations the worcester ph # is 508 754 4036 and Framinghm is 508 875 6159

Giblee's Tuxedos in Danvers 866 738 0733 But this one is crossed out... so I'm guessing he didn't like them as much as the others??

We're renting suits from Delux Tux. They have two locations - one in Walpole and one in Franklin. I can't remember exactly but I think our suit rental is about $130-$150 for 5 days.
