reasonable tuxes

i am trying to find a decently priced tux rental and am having trouble.  any one get any good deals?

Re: reasonable tuxes

  • What is your idea of reasonable? This can vary from person to person.

Tuxes for our wedding were $150 from Men's Wearhouse.  A nationwide chain might work best for you if you have OOT groomsmen.  A word of caution with MW, be very specific with your order.  They told us to order ivory shirts because my dress was ivory.  Two weeks later, I called them and changed it to a white shirt.  During the ceremony, I noticed my H and his GM had white shirts with ivory handkerchiefs.  It looked stupid.  Why they didn't think to also change the handkerchief to white is beyond me.

We got ours at Men's Wearhouse too.  Ours were $140 each, which I definately think is reasonable considering its head to toe.  Grooms tux was free with 4 or more rentals too!
  • Keezer's in Cambridge.

Nice selection and lowest prices around.  We paid around $70 for everything, including shoes, shirt, etc.  They're very patient and easy to work with, too.  We were there for a long time and they were great.
  • I am using Russo's tuxedos.  They have locatiosn in Stoneham, Andover, and somewhere closer to Boston.  They were very reasonably priced, I think it was $100-150 a guy but the best thing is that they are local and if for some reason a measurement is wrong they can address the issue without chaos ensuing.  My dad has used them numerous times for black-tie work events and is always pleased with their work.
