Hi ladies, I'm just doing a little research and was wondering if anyone is getting flowers from Stop & Shop or know anyone who has? Their prices are fabulous, but I'm just wondering about the quality of work. Thanks!
I've bought flowers from stop and shop before and while their prices are good I find their quality is not. The flowers are smaller than others, brown easier and in a whole are just not as nice.
Have you looked into Trader Joe's or Whole Foods? Both have fantastic flowers for very reasonable prices and I know at Whole Foods, they are actually trained florists, which is not the case at Stop and Shop.
I don't think I would trust Stop and Shop for wedding flowers. What about a small independant florist shop instead. It may be better to do less flowers and have a prof. florist than someone who is not trained. Good luck.
Try Roche Brothers too! They have amazing quality flowers
Some Stop and Shop's having AMAZING floral manages. I would try the one in Quincy. Since it is so close to their headquarters they usually have the best selection and best people working there.
DH worked there for 7 years and one of my good friends is a manager of the floral department and they are trained florists. They do great work and the flowers hold up really well. Also, Whole Foods does do a lot of weddings- so they may be more experienced.
Only thing is you do need to pick up the flowers from them I believe.
Hi there, My friend used S&S for her wedding last year and though they were extremely affordable, all the bouquets were so small they looked like they should have been for the flowergirl! If you really want to go through them, I would suggest you see if they can show you exactly what you'll be getting. That way you won't be disappointed the day of!
I used them paid less than $300 and LOVED my flowers I brought pics of exactly what i wanted and the girl did a fantastic job!! I went to one in Plymouth (just incase ) GL!
