Reception at the Nyack Seaport

Has anyone been to a wedding here?  How was the food and the view of the bridge?

I've been to a wedding and a sweet sixteen there. It was really nice and I enjoyed the food. It was good, but it was just your typical catering all food. I don't remember the view, though. The only thing is depending on how many people you have the space might be cramped.

I was a bridesmaid at a wedding at the Nyack Seaport in May of last year.  The cocktail hour was pretty impressive.  I'm not sure if they were upgrades, but there was plenty of food including a raw bar and the passed hors'd eveours were excellent.  Plenty of veggie options which also made me happy being a vegetarian.  Dinner was dinner, really nothing quite memorable, but I feel this is typical of any catering hall.  Make sure your centerpieces are not too high to block the gorgeous view.  The layout was perfect, it was not traditional with the dancefloor in the center of the room, but it was an excellent party.  I really liked the Nyack Seaport.  I would get married there if my brother hadn't JUST gotten married there.  Good luck!

I have no personal experience with events there, but I did love it when I visited. However, it was a tad over my budget when I factored in the things I would have to add..

It's a beautiful location though and I have heard good things!
