chuppah rental

Hey everyone,
I'm getting married this June.  Does any one have any thoughts on renting a really simple chuppah?

Do you know if your florist has one you can borrow or rent?

Your florist will have them available and if you're a member of a temple they should be able to rent you one- if its not being used that weekend.

There are also a few Jewish bookstores in the area that rent them, specifically Kolbo and the Israeli Bookshop. Be prepared to pay though, they are costly.

If you want to save some $$ you can make your own. The easiest design is to not make it free standing and have family/friends carry it for you.

We rented ours through our florist and it only cost $100 extra before decorations.

Those are really helpful suggestions.  Our florist has one we can rent, but it's a bit too  big for our space.
