Hi Looking for a descently priced DJ in the Worcester Area

Hi I am getting married in June of 2011 and trying to find a descently priced DJ.  I can't get over how expensive they all are.  Anyone have any ideas please?

Also, how long do you need him/her for? Are we talking ceremony through reception or just coctail and reception or just reception?

I know a great pianist if you want one for your ceremony. I have no idea what he would charge, but I can ask. That might help cut down on your DJ costs.

Thanks.  Its just for the reception for 5 hours.  Im getting prices around $1500 which I think is outrageous.  I am thinking more like 700-900 price range.

I'm using a Curtis Knight DJ and I am paying around 950 for 5 hrs. So far, they have been wonderful to deal with!

The price for a DJ can really vary, but I would say to expect prices anywhere from $900 to $2000.  We paid our DJ $950 and he was great.

Check out Avid Entertainment - www.aviddjne.com - I think they would be right around $1,000 for 5 hours.

I used Alfredo Travesio of Sound Force Unlimited and he was less than $900 for 5 hours or so.  He is out of RI but came up to Uxbridge for my wedding.

Funny you mention him.  He was my first pic but booked on my date.  I found one for 750.  Did you have your reception at Blissfull?
