Bridal Shower Location

I am looking for an inexpensive bridal shower location that can accomodate around 50 people. Suggestions...?

Re: Bridal Shower Location

  • Are you looking / wanting a venue right in Boston or outside of the city? If outside, North, South, or West??

  • My Bridal shower was at Calitri's in Danvers, which is North of Boston.  We had about 45 people there and it was still plenty of room to mingle and walk around.  I'm not sure of the price though since it was a surprise shower.  Also the food was really good!

  • Fox and Hound in Quincy has a really nice function room and is good for showers too.
  • I am looking for somewhere within 30 minutes around Milton, MA. A place where I can rent a hall and not necessarily have to use the catering of the place. More just a hall rental.
  • Exchange street In Malden. We are having my sister in laws wedding shower there. Very Nice and reasonable
  • I don't know of any hall rentals within that area but maybe check out some of the local yacht clubs or VFWs? Fox and Hound (as mentioned above) is really nice as well and the Inn at Bay Point in Quincy. Granite Grill in Braintree is very nice as well, although all of those places require you to use their catering. I know that the Inn at Bay Pointe and Granite Grill are very reasonably priced. I am having my shower at Peppercornz in Weymouth on Route 18 and the location is convenient, food is amazing, and because they are closed on Sundays, we will have the entire place to ourselves. Just a thought... good luck in your search.

  • The Hoosic club in Milton is very nice. No on site catering- you bring inyour own. Old derby academy in Hingham, although a little pricier. Glastonberry Abbey in Hingham has a function room that is very nice and quite reasonable, really more of a hall type place, but more intimate and nestled in the woods so pretty.
