honeymoon

so we weren't going to go on a honeymoon right after the wedding, but now there is a higher chance that we will, so does anyone have any reccomendations? we'd like to go somewhere beachy, and we'd like to do one of those all inclusive type resorts (are those good, are they worth it? i've never been but it just seems so much less stressful and actually worth the cost, but i wouldn't really know!) not really picky about the "where" quite yet but some of our idea were jamaica, mexico, hawaii, etc, you get the idea...

We are staying at Dreams Los Cabos and we got a really great deal on cheapcarribean.com      All inclusive is fantastic! No worries and plenty of food and activity all the time!

We just took our belated HM on a cruise (Celebrity Equinox).  It was wonderful - sooo relaxing.  It's a great way to check out a lot of different islands, but still only unpack once.

We are doing Secrets Maroma Beach. I've done quite a few all inclusives in Mexico. For the price, you can't beat them!

We booked ours for St Lucia - we're staying at one of the Sandals resorts there. They actually have 3 Sandals resorts right in a row on the island- we're going for the one less crowded - Halcyon.

We went to Hawaii for our HM and stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai.  Pics and info in bio if you're interested.  Highly recommend it!  However, FYI, there aren't very many all-inclusives in Hawaii, and I think the only ones are on the main island.

DH and I just got back from a vacation in the Dominican Republic and we stayed at the Excellence PuntaCana.  A number of our friends went there for our HM and highly recommended it.  It's all inclusive, and DH and I had an amazing time.  You should definitely check it out.  HTH!

We went on an all inclusive vacation last summer and loved it. Make sure you book a couples only resort though. I am a teacher and I love kids but I do not like hanging out with them at the pool. We went to the Dominican and it was great. I can't remember where we stayed but we went to lots of hotels to pick up people on excursions and they all looked nice.

hey...I went to St. Lucia, Sandals Grande...it is considered to be Hawaii in the Caribbean. All inclusive and realy we had a blast.  We loved hiking, and scuba and the food was good.  You can hop around to the other sandals there for free too.
We were lost, like seriously at the point where we didn't know what we wanted to do for the HM, so we contacted the very best TA in the world, gave her our budget and all our must have's and poof the honeymoon of our dreams.  We just didn't want to screw it up...and we are pretty well traveled too.
so, number 1 piece of advice, find a good TA, they are free ...and priceless.
we used Jennifer at VIP Vacations.  But I know many are mentioned on the HM board too.
PM me if you have any questions as I am usually on the nest!
