We recently went to cake tastings at Icing on the Cake (Newton), Konditor Meister and Montilio's.  If anyone is interested in my reviews, I posted them on yelp.com:

    You hit the nail right on the head! I had the same exact experience you did with all three vendors. Except, I was a bit disappointed at IOTC- we were really rushed and it kind of upset me. I think we sat with Paula for maybe 20 minutes!
