Need advice-registry question!!

My sister-in-law is getting married and we were wondering if there is a way on the knot or somewhere else where we can create a "wishlist" or the like and where she can put stuff on. You see the problem we are having is she loves a lot of stuff from Exclusively weddings.com and ThingsRemembered.com. She doesn't want to spend a ton of money buying all the stuff but she absolutely loves it. I called them and asked about it but they don't do registries or wishlists. Do you have any advice how we should proceed?

Thanks.
Mara

I think that site myregistry.com allows you to register for anything online (no matter what the site is).

Is she looking at items FOR the wedding (like card boxes, favors, etc)?  Or wedding-related items (toasting glasses, picture frames, cake cutter, etc.)?  I think it's weird to register for the former (items FOR the wedding), and normal/traditional to do the latter (wedding-related items), but I think you can register for nicer versions from department or housegoods stores (like Macy's or Bed Bath & Beyond) then what some of the wedding sites sell (although I'm honestly not really that familiar with the specific sites you listed).  Just my $0.02.  ;)

Sounds like the stuff she wants she might want to use at the wedding (engraved flutes, serving set, etc etc).  If so, I'd get the bridesmaids together or a group of family and buy it for her shower.  I think that stuff is hard to register for and too complicated for regular guests.  Stick with family and close friends to get it for her.

I'm pretty sure you can do that with the Amazon registry, but I haven't researched it.

    I don't understand the question.

My FSIL used wishpot.com. She linked stuff from different retailers into one link for guests. I'm not 100% sure how it works but it might be worth checking out.
