College caterer or baking and pastry students

Has anyone used college students to make items for their wedding to cut cost?  If so what college did you go through?

    Hi!

    I don't know anyone who has actually done this for their day, but I have friends who went to culinary school and did weddings while they were there. They each have since moved out of state but I think they both do amazing work. If you decide to use college students I think Juniors/Seniors from Le Cordon Bleu or Johnson & Wales in RI would be your best bet for the area.
