Is anyone booking a string trio for their ceremony music? I have found a group that I like but feel like it's a bit pricey. Maybe it's me... They are asking $550 for 1 hour 15 minutes. Is this reasonable? I don't mind paying and it's within the budget (somewhat) but just feel like this is a lot... When I originally spoke to them, the cost was $450 (15 mins prior to, ceremony, and 15 minutes post) but when I asked for an additional 15 minutes prior (totaling 30 minutes prior), the cost went up by $100. I just want to make sure I'm not being unreasonable.

    That is a lot for 15 minutes honestly. But I guess I can understand because if it's an additional 15 minutes maybe that means they can't book an event after yours?

    I wrote this in another post above yours, but you may want to check out local high school musicians.  I had a string quartet for my wedding (HS students) and it was $200.  The cost of professionals just blew my mind.
