Do you mean a Justice of the Peace who is Christian or are you looking for a priest and church?

We used Tom Welch http://welchweddings.com/ for our wedding in Salem, MA last summer. He was WONDERFUL! He's not local to that area but he traveled there :)

Where in Salem are you getting married?

I mean a Pastor...We are not getting married in a church since it is a interfaith wedding. I am trying to learn about my soon to be husbands religion, but it is difficult since he is not very religious.

We are getting married at the Salem Waterfront Hotel. Where did you guys get married?

hmm it may be hard to find a pastor that will agree to work outside his church. I don't know of any. I totally forgot to mention that Tom Welch is a former Catholic priest. He was fantastic and gave us a spiritual ceremony without it being focused on a religion.

We were married at the Hawthorne Hotel :)

Why do I always seem to miss the "Salem" threads?

Anywho, a little late to the party, but I live and will be getting married in Salem.

Depending on what Christian denomination you are looking for, you may have better luck talking to the pastors from Protestant churches rather than Catholic.  The Catholic church is very adamant about gettting married IN the church.  Protestant pastors tend to be a little more open to the idea.
