I need a great DJ

Anyone have suggestions for an awesome DJ. I think this decision is one of the most important to make the day great. I would love recommendations from those of you who had great DJs!!!

    DJ Ra-Mu has been really nice to work with and he seemed to have good reviews and recommendations!  I haven't had my wedding yet but he seems good and was very reasonably priced.

    When I thought my wedding was going to be in MA, where I am from, I was going to hire Sound Force Unlimited. He came recommended, I can't remember his name now, and I really liked him. He did a friend's wedding and did an awesome job without being corny or talking too much. He kept the party going just with the music he played.

    Nu-Image definately knows how to keep a party going.  I would highly recommend them. They are more expensive then most other DJ's, but are totally worth it.  I have been to 2 weddings where they were the DJ, and booked Peter, the owner, as soon as we picked a date.

    It depends on how much you're willing to spend.  The DJ was also incredibly important to us, so we didn't mind spending a little more in this area.  We are using Jon Smith from Unique Sounds in Raynham (but they travel all over MA).  His lowest package is $2200, but he is amazing.  His recommendation started from my supervisor/friend.  She had been to 4 weddings that used him and couldnt imagine getting married without him.  So the night she got engaged she called him to see when he was available, and based her date on him!  Lol..I knew he must be good.  He WAS!!  So amazing.  When we had our meeting with him, it was like he'd known us for a long time.  We hadnt thought about intro songs yet and he played a song for us that was SO perfect it made me cry.

    John Cristoferi out of Brockton.  He was great!  $800 for five hours.

    We used Peter at Groove Entertainment.  We got a DJ, video and uplight package.  They were great.

    We used Curtis Knight out of Billerica.  I would recommend him without reservation.  He and Anna were absolutely wonderful.  They had great fun with the list of songs we chose and they kept the party going all night long.  Curtis and Anna are totally easy to work with and are absolute sweethearts.  http://www.curtisknight.com/
