Bridal Shop Recs please!

Hi!

Looking for recs for dress shops in the area (I live in the North Shore). Looking for anything downtown or north of the city.

I'm on a budget, so if you know of any stores that have dresses under $600.

I'm looking for a fun 1950s gown, please let me know if you have any suggestions. So far I've only been to David's and French Bridal.

Yay, I can share my recent knowledge!  I went to a bunch of stores looking for dresses under $1K.  These were my favorites:

Marry & Tux, Nashua NH 
Camilla's Bridal, Arlington MA
Precious Memories, Malden MA
Bride's Choice, Waltham MA
Manhattan Bridals, Dedham MA

They all carry dresses in the low end price range and all these shops were very well reviewed.  They were all super nice to me and no pressure.  I just ordered my Maggie Sottero dress at Camilla's in Arlington.  It was $800, but they definitely have stuff for less.  I love them!

Pure Bliss is in Newburyport.  Although, i saw some reviews saying their service after the reviewer purchased the dress was not very good.

I second Precious Memories in Malden. It's not really anything special in terms of the actual store, but they have a really large selection and it seems like they will have plenty in that price range. I was actually shocked by how inexpensive some of the dresses I tried on where (maybe because I came straight from Priscilla!) Not sure how many 50's style they would have though. I tried on mainly Maggie Sottero and Casablanca there. Good luck.

I bought my dress at Marry & Tux in Nashua and I absolutely love them! Every single person there is wonderful and they really want you to be happy. They also have great prices. I bought a sample dress for $450, about 50%off.

Also, there is a bridal consignment shop called Over the Rainbow in Wenham. I looked there and found a couple of great dresses, and the owner was great!

Precious Memories in Malden is awesome and they do $99 sales alot. If you go on their website they have sale gowns too. I have dealt with them before with a few friends weddings. They have great bridesmaids stuff too.

I'd like to recommend Berkachi Bridal in Cambridge.  It's a really small store, but the owner is great and the dresses are all under $1000.  I bought my dress there and am soo excited!!  Good luck!
