Florist recommendations

I'm looking for some recommendations on florists in the Boston area. As we're getting married in the city in December, we'd prefer to have someone based in the city or suburbs, in case of inclement weather on the day of.

We've met with three florists so far, and wanted to meet with a few more. Any good ones out there?

Also, on that note, has anyone worked with Mimosa?

Thanks!

I love my florist so far, but I have not had my wedding yet. She was written up in the Boston Globe and I found her to be creative and affordable, and I love that gives a portion of her profits to charity.

I'm using Charlotte's Design's out of Walpole, very happy so far with her.  Also Jen from the Tangled Web gets great reviews on here as well.

Highly recommend our florist, Suzanne Bellanger at Bella Floral Design.  You can see pics of our actual flowers in my bio and also read my review.  She's great at helping you get the most out of your budget and she's great at what she does.  Here's her website

We are also using Suzanne from Bella Floral, we haven't had our wedding yet but I am very happy so far.  She is so flexible and whenever I want to change my mind a little she will resend my quote with all my options laid out.  She is storing our chuppah and assembling it for us, even though we are not renting through her.

I tend to have a million ideas and trouble blending them so I appreciate a vendor who takes what I request and adds her own knowledge and opinion.

Mimosa furnished all my wedding flowers.  Love Theresa and her crew.  I think Bharnett and a few other former knotties worked with Mimosa and had nothing but raves.  If you have any specific Qs, just let me know.

I also met/had convos with Fino Fresh, Madison Floral, Flowers by Annette, Lynsday Loring, and Tangerine.  There may have been a couple others, but my memory's weak in that dept.

I have had a wonderful experience so far with New Leaf Flores in Jamaica Plain.  The owners are so talented and creative.  There arrangements tend to be a bit more funky than traditional wedding centerpieces, but they are stunning (affordable too).  Check them out!

    Hey there--

I'm using Andrea D'Amelio of AD Floral Designs. She is really reasonable with her prices and really quite sharp when it comes to flowers. I told her the look, the feel, the colors that I was interested in...she even made me a sample of the tall...and I was completely sold. She works out of her house and is really sweet.
