help please!

My brother in law is getting married next summer and since his bride to be is clueless as to where to go or what to do as far as planning her wedding my mother in law and I have been helping her.  Since everyone was so helpful on here in 2007 when I got married I figured I come back on here and see if anyone has any good ideas.  They have a budget of 6000 for a wedding for 60-70 guest.  Any place that I could start looking?they are trying to get everything for 6000.  is it possible? we are looking on the south shore. thanks in advance!!!!

I was thinking you might want to try a place like Maggiano's restaurant in downtown. They must have something similar to this for family-style dining in a nice room that would include the cake.

Port305 in Marina Bay would fit your budget I think.  I looked here but it was too small for my wedding but would fit 70ppl easily.  It has a great view overlooking the harbor.

We're doing our wedding at the Atlantica in Cohasset.  If you get married on a friday, their minimum is only $6000.  I think it'd be easy to stay under that if you do a cash bar.  You get great meals, with 2 stations before hand, a soup and a salad.  Cake included.
