Pinehills Brides?

Anyone getting married at the Pinehills CG? Do you need to use some of their recommended vendors? How has the planning been so far with them? Thanks!

I'm not a Pinehills bride but I just recently went to a wedding there. I have to say, I was totally upset with their service. They ran out of food because "guests took pork who were supposed to take fish." We were served the children's meal because that is all they had left even though we checked off the pork on our RSVP card! Just a heads up, be sure to have place cards or something to let your servers know who should be getting which entree! Other than that it was a beautiful venue!!

I am getting married there this summer.  I'm doing the stations catering option, so hopefully they won't run out of things.  I grew up in the area and know a few people who got married there, and they have all had good experiences (although the catering was taken over last year by East Bay, so most of them had the old catering option).  

 The vendors on the list they give you are just suggestions, the wedding planner there told me that people bring in other vendors all the time.  I hired a photographer and dj  and ceremony musicians that weren't on the list.  The main planner there is really good about getting back to me over email, so far, so good.
