NWR: where to shop!

I need a dress. To wear to a wedding. I don't want to order anything because the wedding is in two weeks and I don't want to have to deal with exchanging sizes through the mail. Any suggestions of places to look? I need something a little nicer than what I normally wear. Its an evening wedding, her colors are black and white, and its a fairly nice venue so I assume its a little fancier than anything I own (plus I just really want a new dress and FI won't complain about me shopping because he doesn't understand girl clothes and I told him I don't have anything nice enough and he just says uhhh okay. Haha.) Anyways, I've checked all the regular hot spots... j crew, banana republic, macys, etc. ANy ideas ladies?

    try Nordstroms or even Nordstrom's Rack.

    Yea, nordstoms, they had a bunch of BCBG cocktail dresses on sale.

    I was going to suggest BCBG.  Sometimes I have luck at Ann Taylor.

    Hautelook is having  a BCBG sale on Thursday this week beginning at 11!  Just an FYI for all those interested :-)  Is it lame that I actually added it to my calendar so i don't forget?????

    Lord and Taylor, Nordstrom etc.

    I'd also check  the Natick Mall (one stop a ton of good stores).

    Lord & Taylor has, in my opinion, the best dress selection of any department store.  I usually shop at the on downtown on Boylston Street, but the one at the Burlington Mall is also very nice.
