Rehearsal Dinner Suggestions - Downtown Boston

Hi,

Anyone have restaurants to suggest in/ near Downtown boston that would accomodate a private area for 30-40 people for a rehearsal dinner?

Trying to keep it more reasonably priced, but realize its the city so trying to keep it within $40 - $55 pp for dinner.

I can give good marks to Maggianos Little Italy in Park Plaza.  They have private rooms, and generally good prices.  I would give them a call.  Ditto, you might look into Legal Seafoods.  We're using them for a rehearsal luncheon.

Strega on the Waterfront, Anthony's Pier 4, or Bricco or Ricardo's in the North End

We are having ours at Piccolo Venezia in the North End. We had a lower budget, and they were able to accomodate everything we asked for. No room fee if you have more than 25 people, you have the room until they close and you get 3-4 courses for the price of 2-3 at some other places in Boston. Oh, and they don't have the 20 percent administration fee. We also love their food!

I was looking into grill 23. I don't know how expensive they are, but they are very elegant inside.
