Torn - Raffael's of Walpole Vs. Venezia of Dorchester

Just looking for some advice/comments on wedding venues! Love both Raffael's in Walpole and Venezia in Dorchester. Not sure which to go with. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I've only been to Raffael's for a retirement party but thought it was beautiful. The buffet we had there was very good. Sorry I can't be mote helpful!

I've been to 2 weddings at the Venezia, both beautifully executed.  Where will u be having your ceremony?  Maybe that can be your decision maker to which it's closer to?

Went to a retirement party at Venezia in September and wasn't overwhelmed with their food.  While I certainly understand that the people who planned the event chose the selection, I wasn't impressed by the quality.  They had some sort of seafood in one corner and the garlic smell was overpowering....in all parts of the room! Hope that helps!

I got married at Raffael's. The service was good. I had to have the chef make some adjustments to the meal to get what I wanted.
Overall, they were nice. We also had a morning after brunch there with immediate family and it was good as well.

PM me if you have any questions.
