Western Mass Wedding/ Reception venues

Hi!

My fiance and I just got engaged and we are beginning the search for a venue. There are so many options. We are from Amherst which is in Western Mass. I am wondering if anyone knows of a good priced place with a beautiful view?

I went to UMASS so I'm familar with the area... we had functions at Log Cabin in Holyoke and the Delaney House also in Holyoke... both were very nice (not sure about pricing though).

I went to a wedding at the Garden House at Look Park recently that was very nice as well but you have to bring in your own caterer.

There's also a western, ma board so def post this over there.

FI and I went to UMass too! We're actually getting married at the Log Cabin which is by far the best view we found for the money. We looked all over MA from Boston to the Pioneer Valley and although we loved some Boston places, we had to scale back our budget due to a lay-off. 

The Western MA board is VERY slow but sometimes people do respond. Also as an FYI- FI and I got engaged about this time last year and started looking for 2011. We tool one of the few summer dates Aug 13. in early March at the Log Cabin and we aren't even in the main dining room. It books FAST.
