I also got my dress there and won't be doing alterations there. I heard the woman at Precious Memories in Malden is great. She also works from home if you can try to track her down!

Precious Memories is awesome for alterations.  Teresa, the seamstress, is currently working on my dress actually :)
She's great, has done most of my friend's dresses and most of the BM dresses that I've worn.

I went to Eva at Adam and Eva Tailor Shop in Medford.  She's awesome and pretty inexpensive!  She did the hem, bustle, took in the dress and added cups...for $150!  I got quotes up to $500.

She has upped her prices. I got much less work done than you (bustle, waist, and badly sewn cups that I had to redo myself) and got charged $300. I was disappointed.

Jay10 and vbtm, I also got my dress at Bride and Belle and have read those same bad reviews on here and am worried. Anyone else have any other input on Sartoria-Italia alterations done by Maria who is in Revere and used to be in Melrose?

I told my FMIL about Adams and Eve based on the reviews here, and they charged my FMIL $60 for a very simple hem.  It seems outrageous considering my mom got hers hemmed at $30 and I got my own at $25.  My FMIL is not pleased at all with them and they ignored her when she voiced her disappointment.
