Hamilton Hall Reception Site, Salem

Hi There,
Does anyone have feedback about Hamilton Hall in Salem? I know they have no airconditioning but we'd like to get married in Nov. or the winter.  I'm wondering about costs and do you have to go with their caterer?  Are their a lot of restrictions on the music/alcohol becuase it is a museum? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!

Hey there-

We actually spoke with the directors at this site when we were looking for our location. It looks really gorgeous. Our concern was that all events have to end by 10p.m. there and that seemed early to us. It is really gorgeous though so if you can fit the rental fee and separate catering into your budget it may be perfect! We ended up going with the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem and I cannot say enough how much in love with the location I am!

I am not sure if it would work in your price range but definitely look into Hawthorne. They have dates that cost a lot less than I am paying and the site is GORGEOUS. if u want more info on it, shoot me a private message and we can chat.
