Hi I'm new to this board and new to the whole wedding planning process. I was just wondering if anyone has booked their wedding or has been to a wedding at Gillette Stadium?

I haven't been to a wedding there, but I have been to a couple of other events, includinga sit-down brunch, and it was a lot of fun. What a cool venue for a wedding.

I haven't been to any events there other then concert and football games but I think its an awesome Idea!
Fi and I are die hard pats fans and would have loved to have our wedding there.

I used to live 1 mile from there We heard all the concerts and stuff and it was awesome. This sounds awesome though! Think of the great cocktails you could have at Davios or Bar Louie?!

When we originally thought we were going to get married in Mass, Gillette was definitely on our list of potential venues. I'm jealous if you end up having your wedding there!!

Meaghan - where did you live?? FI is from Foxboro and used to walk to the stadium when he was a kid!

I just stayed in the new Marriott over there and it was amazing. If you get married there I'd rec a room block at tht hotel!

Thanks girls. Yes we actually will be having our reception there. My FI is a huge Pats fan and we thought this was a cool and unique idea. The room overlooks the field and its a huge room, unusual shaped though. Don't know how we are going to set it up. But can't wait!! My wedding is in exactly one year from today.
