I found the dress that I want in the Vogue pattern catalog, but need to find a dressmaker or seamstress who can make it for me from the pattern I purchased. Can anyone recommend a good dressmaker who doesnt charge a fortune.

    You could check with Chris O'Hare. I know she said she used to make dresses but now mostly just does alterations, but since it's her slower season now she might be willing to. PM me if you need her number. She is definitely very reasonable for alterations.
